KARACHI: Intense fog across different regions of the country continues to severely disrupt air operations, leading to the cancellation of an additional 24 flights from various airports. The total count of cancelled flights has now escalated to 88 over the span of two days.
The flight schedule of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been notably affected due to disruptions in Islamabad's flight operations. Several flights destined for Islamabad, Sialkot, and Peshawar had to be diverted to alternative airports.

Furthermore, PIA's flight PK-258 from Sharjah to Peshawar had to land in Karachi. At Islamabad airport, flights Abu-Dhabi PK-261 and Dubai Islamabad PK-234 were cancelled.
Several other flights faced cancellations as well, including Islamabad-Karachi Serene Air (ER) 500 and ER-501, Gilgit-Islamabad PK-601 and PK-602, Islamabad-Skardu PA 451 and 452, and Karachi airport's PA 200 and 201.
