Bollywood legend Aamir Khan has unveiled his forthcoming film, which he will both star in and produce. The movie, titled "Sitare Zameen Par," is a spiritual successor to the emotionally resonant 2007 hit "Taare Zameen Par," according to the actor.
Aamir Khan shared that "Sitare Zameen Par" will offer viewers a journey filled with joy, in contrast to the tearjerker aspects of its predecessor. He emphasized that while he hadn't previously discussed the movie publicly, he couldn't reveal much about it at this time.
At an event, he explained, "You must be aware of my movie 'Taare Zameen Par,' and the title 'Sitare Zameen Par' has been chosen because the new concept will take the original idea ten steps further. 'Taare' was an emotional film, while this one will make you laugh."
The underlying theme of the new movie remains the same, and this is why the title was deliberately maintained. Aamir Khan added, "We all have flaws, we all have weaknesses, but we all also have something special. In the last film, my character helped the special child Ishaan. In 'Sitare Zameen Par,' those nine boys, each with their own issues, will be the ones helping me. It's the reverse."
Reports indicate that Aamir Khan will not only play a role in "Sitare Zameen Par" but also take on the role of producer. Additionally, Aamir disclosed that he is producing three other films: "Laapata Ladies," directed by his ex-wife Kiran Rao, another film featuring his son Junaid Khan, and "Lahore 1947," directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and starring Sunny Deol.
