Karachi: Khwaab, a mesmerizing dance theatre is ready to perform in six cities across Sindh from February 13 to February 23.
The Ali Hasan Mangi Memorial Trust is proud to partner and support the theatre, produced by Mohsin Babar Productions, it tells a moving story of love and loss through the powerful language of dance, incorporating kathak, sufi, contemporary, and folk styles.
Renowned choreographer and performing artist Mohsin Babar will lead a troupe of 13 dancers in delivering this spellbinding performance. Babar is a highly accomplished kathakar who has performed on international stages. He was mentored by Hamid Hussain Shah Jaipuri and Shado Maharaj, Pakistan’s pioneering kathakars, and received advanced training from Ustad RajendraGanggani in India. Additionally, he has honed his contemporary dance skills in Germany, making him a versatile and dynamic performer. The performance schedule is as follows:

Through Khwaab, audiences will experience an evocative and deeply expressive narrative,
showcasing the fusion of classical and contemporary dance traditions. This tour aims to enrich the cultural landscape of Sindh and promote the performing arts as a powerful medium of storytelling.
