The nation celebrated Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah's birth anniversary with fervor, beginning the day with gun salutes and visits to mausoleums across provinces and the federal capital. Various governmental and non-governmental entities organized special events to honor Jinnah's vision and efforts in creating Pakistan.
In Karachi, a 21-gun salute and prayers at Quaid's mausoleum marked the day. Political figures including Dr. Arif Alvi, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, and caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqar paid homage at the mausoleum.
A change of guard ceremony, led by a contingent from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul, was part of the commemorations.
