LAHORE: An Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Lahore directed authorities to present Marriyum Aurangzeb, a Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former information minister, after her arrest on December 9. The arrest relates to a case involving a speech deemed provocative.
During the court hearing presided by Judge Abhar Gull Khan, a non-bailable arrest warrant was issued for Aurangzeb due to her failure to appear in court. The ATC judge instructed the concerned area's station house officer to ensure compliance with the court's orders.
This action followed a case filed against Marriyum Aurangzeb, Javed Latif, and others for allegedly inciting people through their speeches.
