Atif Aslam and Talha Anjum maintained their positions as the leading local artists according to Spotify Wrapped 2023, as announced by the company in a press release on Wednesday.

The revered 'Shehnshah-e-Qawwali', Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, and his nephew, the renowned Sufi artist Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, were also recognized among the top 10 most streamed local artists, as mentioned in the statement.

Spotify's top lists portray diverse trends, reflecting the expanding landscape of music, while the streaming platform continues to grow its user base. Notably, local favorites were highlighted alongside global sensations such as Taylor Swift and The Weeknd among the most streamed artists.

Kaifi Khalil's 'Kahani Suno 2.0' emerged as the most streamed track in Pakistan and also held the position of the most streamed Pakistani song worldwide. Additionally, Ali Sethi and Shae Gill's 'Pasoori' secured a place among the top ten most-streamed Pakistani songs.

Asim Azhar's 'Jo Tu Na Mila' also made its way into the list of the top 10 most streamed Pakistani songs.

The Wrapped data for this year indicated Shae Gill as the most streamed Pakistani female artist, followed by Momina Mustehsan, Abida Parveen, Quratulain Balouch, and Naseebo Lal.
