Veteran Pakistani actress Bushra Ansari has voiced her concerns over the audience of daily vloggers, questioning the quality of content and the massive following some social media influencers have gained.
Bushra Ansari, known for her outstanding performances in hit dramas such as Barat Series, Bilquees Kaur, Seeta Bhagri, Zebaish, and Pardes, has earned a reputation for her versatility in both serious and comic roles. Recently, she has ventured into daily vlogging, where fans appreciate her insights into lifestyle and travel.
Speaking about daily vloggers and their audiences, she expressed her astonishment at the kind of content that gains popularity. “Everything should be done with sensibility, I believe. We belong to a different world; definitely not this generation. People say YouTubers and TikTokers earn millions, but I don’t know who they are or where to watch them. Sometimes, I try to search for their content, and I am shocked at what I see.”
Without naming anyone, she criticized the lack of quality in viral content, saying, “Many don’t even know how to speak properly, yet they have massive followings. I am surprised at how people watch and support them. I’ve also seen their extravagant weddings, and it’s astonishing.”
Her remarks have sparked discussion on the growing influence of digital content creators and the shift in entertainment consumption trends.
