The wealth statements filed with the Election Commission of Pakistan reveal that Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar holds assets valued at Rs48 million for the financial year 2022-23 since assuming office in August.

Kakar's assets primarily include inherited agricultural land worth Rs8 million and shares in a mining company.

Meanwhile, Caretaker Finance Minister Shamshad Akhtar's wealth statement indicates ownership of Naya Pakistan certificates valued at Rs2.79 billion, along with properties gifted by her father and a residence in Defence Housing Authority (DHA) Karachi.

She also possesses shares in Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and investments in NAFA income Arif Habib Bank, with bank deposits totaling over Rs3.9 million. Dr. Shamshad also holds gold worth Rs200,000, cash assets of Rs1.9 million, and furniture valued at Rs200,000 million.

Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi's assets amount to over Rs23 million, while Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti declares property in Islamabad, Multan, and Quetta, totaling a net worth of around Rs80 million.

The Elections Act 2017 mandates caretaker officials to submit their asset and liability statements, including those of spouses and dependent children, within three days of assuming office. These declarations are then published in the official Gazette by the Election Commission.
