Karachi, Chairman Liaquatabad Town, Faraz Hasib, along with Vice Chairman Ishtiaq Timuri, conducted an inspection of road construction in Union Committee No. 2, Sharifabad.
During the visit, Union Committee No. 2 Chairman, Muhammad Arshad, Vice Chairman Asad Mahmood Niazi, Director Sanitation Naseer Khan, Deputy Director Administration Faiz Ahmed, Deputy Director Parks Rehan Hamdani, Deputy Director M and E Asghar Hussain, Deputy Director B and R Shafqat, and Deputy Director Encroachment Sajid Sheikh were also present.
Chairman Faraz Hasib directed the relevant officials to ensure the use of high-quality materials for road construction to ensure the durability and longevity of the roads. He emphasized the importance of constructing sturdy and sustainable roads that would benefit the community for a long time.
During discussions with local residents, he highlighted that after the road construction, it would be the shared responsibility of the community to ensure that the roads are kept clean and free of debris and waterlogging.
He mentioned that efforts are underway to repair and maintain the deteriorated roads in Liaquatabad Town, and various civic amenities are being provided to the residents as part of ongoing initiatives.
Furthermore, Chairman Faraz Hasib visited various camps set up by different organizations in Liaquatabad Town in connection with the celebration of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He inspected the locations where welcoming camps have been established by Liaquatabad Town to provide cold beverages and water to the participants of the procession.
It's worth noting that during the celebration of the birth of the Prophet, Liaquatabad Town sets up welcoming camps along the procession route, where cold drinks and water are provided to the attendees. Additionally, floral arrangements are made along the procession's route, enhancing the festive atmosphere.
