The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi has announced the apprehension of an individual, allegedly linked to the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) London faction, in Surjani Town.
The arrested suspect, identified as Bilal Anees alias Bila, is said to have been involved in multiple homicides, including the murder of PSP sector in-charge Abdul Hameed, also known as Nadeem Maulana. The CTD spokesperson disclosed that weapons were confiscated from the suspect's possession. During questioning,
Bilal Anees allegedly divulged his participation in a target-killing team operated by Asif Abdullah from South Africa, which had been formed in 2017 on the instructions of London. The team, consisting of Rahim, Danesh, Owais, Rizwan, and Bilal Anees, was responsible for Abdul Hameed's murder. Bilal Anees had been a wanted individual in several police cases and had been incarcerated three times. The investigation is ongoing.
