The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) is expected to announce the election schedule today after holding an emergency meeting with different stakeholders.
The ECP had recently held back-to-back meetings with officials from different political parties to discuss their positions on elections and delimitation.
In the key meeting, chaired by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikandar Sultan Raja in Islamabad, the ECP is expected to discuss how it can shorten the time it takes to complete the delimitation process.
