A Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) candidate, Ali Hassan Hangorjo, in Sindh’s PS-41 constituency, reportedly made intimidating remarks towards party workers during a gathering in Sanghar, which circulated widely on social media.

In his speech, Hangorjo allegedly implied repercussions if PPP candidates weren't supported, emphasizing the need for a PPP-led government. He suggested that Sanghar district would witness consequences if the government formation didn’t align with PPP's aspirations.

Following the viral video, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) intervened, directing the monitoring team, led by Joint Election Commissioner Sindh Asghar Sial, to take action against the politician for his statements.
