An accountability court granted an extension of bail to the PTI Chairman and his wife, Bushra Bibi, until December 6 in cases related to Toshakhana, a 190 million pound scandal, and Al-Qadir Trust.
Judge Muhammad Bashir presided over the proceedings held at Adiala Jail, where both the PTI chief and Bushra Bibi were present.
The court session saw the appearance of NAB prosecutor Muzzafar Abbasi and PTI chief’s counsel, Latif Khosa.
Earlier, the PTI chief faced conviction on August 5 in a case filed by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The charges pertained to concealing profits from the sale of gifts received from Toshakhana at reduced rates. He was subsequently arrested and detained on the same day.
