- Israel has expanded its ground operation towards the south of the Strip.
- Israeli jets attacking various areas of the Gaza Strip, most of which were concentrated east of Khan Younis in the south.
- Palestinian officials in Gaza saying Israeli jets dropped phosphorus bombs north and east of Khan Younis.
- Entire families were killed after the bombing of homes in Khan Younis and Rafah.
- More than 15 Palestinians were killed after Israeli attacks on several homes in Jabalia al-Balad, north of the Gaza Strip.
- Dozens killed in attacks on a residential building south of the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood in Gaza.
- Israel ramps up attacks across the Gaza Strip, including near hospitals and in the south of besieged enclave where ground operation is intensifying.
- Israel’s “indiscriminate bombardment” of Palestinian civilians in southern Gaza has reached “new depths”, Norwegian Refugee Council chief warns.
- The Palestine Red Crescent says it lost contact with its teams after telecommunication services cut off in Gaza amid Israeli bombings.
