The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has summoned actress and model Nadia Hussain for questioning in connection with a bank fraud case involving her husband, Atif Khan. According to FIA sources, large sums of money were transferred from Atif Khan’s accounts to Nadia Hussain’s accounts, including Rs 26.4 million to her salon accounts in Karachi.

The suspicious transactions took place between 2019 and 2022, a period during which the alleged fraud occurred. The FIA suspects that Nadia Hussain may have been a beneficiary of her husband’s fraudulent activities and has called her in for questioning. She has been instructed to bring all relevant documents with her to the FIA office, with the warning that failure to comply may result in legal action.

Nadia Hussain owns two beauty salons, one in Lucky One Mall and another in Karachi's Clifton area. The FIA's investigation indicates that funds from the alleged bank fraud were used to operate her salons. The agency has discovered that Rs 26.4 million was transferred to the salon accounts through two separate accounts belonging to Atif Khan.

Atif Khan, Nadia’s husband, is already in FIA custody due to his involvement in a Rs 54 crore fraud. The FIA’s Corporate Circle has revealed key evidence suggesting that Nadia Hussain was a major beneficiary of the fraud. Since 2019, substantial amounts were transferred 19 times in separate intervals, with the total amount transferred reaching Rs 26.4 million.

The investigation further claims that Atif Khan’s actions caused a financial loss of Rs 1.2 billion to the company he was associated with. He is accused of misappropriating company funds for personal use and charging his business losses to the bank. Atif Khan allegedly transferred Rs 540 million in business losses to the bank’s accounts, while personally using over Rs 110 million.
