Rohit Shetty's latest addition to his police-centric cinematic universe, "Singham Again," brings back Bollywood icon Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is set to reprise her role as Avni Kamat, the dedicated wife of Singham, portrayed by Ajay Devgn, according to foreign news agency.
Ajay Devgn unveiled Kapoor's powerful first look from the film on social media, where she radiates strength and confidence. The post was captioned, "Fierce, Strong, and Singham's strength! Meet Avni Singham!" with appropriate hashtags for Kapoor and himself.
Kapoor, who has previously collaborated with Shetty on successful films like "Golmaal Returns," "Golmaal 3," and "Singham Returns," expressed her excitement about joining the "Singham Again" cast on Instagram, saying, "It's about time... Rejoining forces with the cop verse."
Scheduled for release on August 15, 2024, "Singham Again" boasts a star-studded ensemble, including Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff in significant roles. The return of the lead pair has generated much anticipation. While Kareena Kapoor Khan is the female lead, her character details remain undisclosed.
