Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi has instructed state media organizations to ensure equal opportunities for all registered political parties in the upcoming general elections during his visit to Radio Broadcasting House Karachi.
He pledged impartial treatment for all political factions during the campaign and emphasized the government's commitment to meeting public broadcasting needs through digital technology, including the upcoming introduction of Digital Radio Mondiale in the country.
Solangi also expressed his determination to address the concerns of Radio Pakistan employees. The Election Commission of Pakistan recently announced that the general elections would be held in the last week of January 2024.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) welcomed this decision, ending uncertainty and fulfilling their request for a prompt election announcement.
