Gold rates in Pakistan experienced an upward trend on Tuesday, with the tola rate of 24-karat gold witnessing a Rs500 surge.
As per the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs500 to reach Rs215,200 in the domestic market.
Additionally, the per tola and 10-gram silver prices also increased by Rs429, reaching Rs184,500. In the international market, the price of gold rose by $5, reaching $2,047. This comes after a slight easing of gold prices on Monday, influenced by investors revising expectations of a U.S. interest rate cut and a surge in equity markets, diminishing interest in safe-haven assets like gold.
