In Karachi, the price of gold saw a decrease, aligning with the drop in the international market.
The local market showed gold at Rs 216,100 per tola, marking a decline of Rs 1,900 per tola for the day. For 10 grams, gold was sold at Rs 185,271, indicating a decrease of Rs 1,629 per ten grams, as per the rates provided by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
Internationally, gold held a premium of $20, settling at $2,047 per ounce after an $18 decline per ounce in the global market, reported APGJSA. On the other hand, silver rates remained steady at Rs 2,660 per tola.
