Renowned actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has expressed his desire to embody the qualities of a true gentleman, much like his character Shehram from the ongoing TV serial 'Jaan-e-Jahan'.
At a recent premiere night, Abbasi praised Shehram as a character who exemplifies kindness, stating that Allah always favors those who are good to others.
Responding to a question about whether Shehram's gentleness might detract from his alpha male status, Abbasi argued that alpha males are expected to be gentle, especially towards their loved ones. He expressed his aspiration to embody the traits of an alpha male, similar to his character Shehram.
'Jaan-e-Jahan' marks Abbasi's return to television after a lengthy hiatus and reunites him with his 'Pyarey Afzal' co-star Ayeza Khan after ten years. The serial boasts an ensemble cast including Nawal Saeed, Srha Asghar, Emmad Irfani, Zainab Qayyum, Savera Nadeem, Nausheen Shah, Saqib Sumeer, and Noor-ul-Hassan.
Directed by Qasim Ali Mureed and written by Rida Bilal, 'Jaan-e-Jahan' airs every Friday and Saturday in prime time exclusively on ARY Digital.
