Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas' political office, announced on Wednesday that his organization is willing to engage in negotiations for a two-state solution, with Al-Quds remaining the capital of Palestine.
Haniyeh also mentioned that Israel has initiated ground operations in the Gaza Strip and called on mediators to halt Israel's ongoing aggression.
He added that Palestinians in the Gaza Strip are in a significant conflict with the Israeli army and will soon disclose the actual number of Israeli casualties. Haniyeh emphasized that the hostages in the Gaza Strip are facing similar hardships that Gazans experience daily and urged the United States to stop obstructing international efforts to end the violence in Gaza.
