Last night, Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system experienced a malfunction, causing missiles to change direction and strike hospitals and residential buildings in Tel Aviv.
According to the foreign news channel, the Iron Dome is intended to defend against incoming short-range projectiles, utilizing radar to track rockets and distinguishing between those headed for populated areas and those that are not.
