Outspoken Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut appears to mock her industry peers who attended the extravagant pre-wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, as revealed in a recent post on her Instagram story.

While Bollywood's top stars graced the three-day affair with their presence, Kangana chose a different path, drawing intriguing parallels with the legendary Lata Mangeshkar.

In a surprising turn, Lata Mangeshkar's sister, Asha Bhosle, disclosed in a past interview that the iconic singer had reportedly turned down lucrative offers to perform at private events. Kangana, seizing upon this revelation, shed light on her own distinct journey, expressing, “I have faced significant financial setbacks, but Lata ji and I are the only ones with numerous hit songs (such as 'Fashion ka Jalwa,' 'Ghani Baawli Ho Gayi,' 'London Thumkda,' 'Sadi Galli,' 'Vijay Bhawa,' etc.) to our credit.”

The Queen star further elaborated on her stance, emphasizing that she would never entertain offers to attend award ceremonies or perform at weddings. Kangana argued for the wealth of integrity in a world of shortcuts, underscoring the importance of character and dignity amidst fame and fortune.

"Despite many temptations, I have never danced at weddings. I have also turned down numerous popular item songs and avoided award presentations. In a world that values shortcuts, the younger generation needs to recognize that true wealth lies in integrity. It takes strength of character and dignity to reject fame and wealth," said the actress.
