In a recent meeting at the Karachi Water Corporation, the organization expressed its determination to fulfill its first commitment, which is to meet the obligations of retired employees. Effective measures are being taken by the management to resolve the issues of the employees.
SCEA, in collaboration with the United Workers Front, held discussions with various representatives, including Chairman Arshad Khan, Abdul Qayyum, Anwar Habib, Waseem Ibrahim, Ayub Baloch, Nazim Khan, and others, during a meeting at the DC Secretariat.
On this occasion, the SCEA representatives informed the Water Corporation about various issues concerning employees, emphasizing that all issues would be resolved on a priority basis. They also suggested improving facilities for employees, including bringing them under the better healthcare panel of the Water Corporation, as well as devising a practical strategy for the duties of retired employees.
The CEO of the Water Corporation, Engineer Syed Salahuddin Ahmed, assured SCEA officials that, in collaboration with SCEA, all issues, including those related to employees, would be resolved. He expressed complete confidence that the management of the Water Corporation would work together with SCEA to resolve all issues effectively.
