KARACHI: Winter has officially come to an end in the coastal regions of Sindh and Balochistan, including Karachi, as temperatures are expected to rise in the coming days. According to weather analyst Jawad Memon, the mercury will gradually increase from March 6, marking the transition to warmer conditions.
Memon stated that a brief dip in temperatures will be observed today and tomorrow before the warming trend begins. Over the next two to three days, Karachi is likely to experience a slight drop in nighttime temperatures, with a decrease of about two to three degrees Celsius. However, this cooling phase will be temporary, as temperatures are forecasted to rise steadily afterward.
As winter fades, Karachiites should brace for warmer days ahead, with the onset of pre-summer conditions. The shift in weather patterns is typical for this time of year, as coastal regions move away from winter’s mild influence and prepare for the heat of the coming months.
Meteorologists advise residents to stay hydrated and take necessary precautions as temperatures begin to climb. The expected rise in mercury will also impact surrounding areas, signaling the arrival of hotter weather in southern Pakistan.
