Malaysia's Batik Air successfully completed its first Kuala Lumpur-Karachi flight, receiving a traditional water salute upon arrival at Karachi International Airport. The airline plans to operate three weekly flights on this route.

The passengers were greeted by the Malaysian Consul General and Civil Aviation Officers (CAA), emphasizing the strengthening of ties between the countries and creating new prospects for both business and leisure travel.

Coinciding with this, Azerbaijan's national airline, AZAL, initiated direct flights to Pakistan. AZAL's inaugural flight from Azerbaijan is set to land at Islamabad airport later today.
