On Tuesday, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a notable decline, with a reduction of Rs4200 per tola, settling at Rs219,400 in the local market, reported by the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a decrease of Rs3601, reaching Rs188,100.
Internationally, the price of the yellow metal dropped by $37 to $2057. Spot gold faced a 2.1% decline, reaching $2,026.69 per ounce and marking its most significant drop since February despite fluctuating within a $115 range throughout the day.
U.S. gold futures concluded 2.3% lower at $2,042.20. Silver experienced a 3.6% decline to $24.50 per ounce, signaling its worst performance in two months following a seven-month peak earlier in the session.
Furthermore, palladium fell by 1.7% to $917.31, while platinum dipped 2.8% to $972.67.
