TALUMBA: Renowned Islamic scholar Maulana Tariq Jamil’s son Asim Jamil passed away.
As per details, the police officials said that the dead body of the deceased has been handed over to his family.
Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan Sohail Chaudhary said that Maulana Asim Jamil got injured by shooting from a gun in his chest, shows the CCTV footage.
RPO Multan further said that the deceased was in gymnasium at the time of his death.
The tragic news was confirmed by his father Maulana Tariq Jamil ‘My son Asim Jameel passed away today in Talamba’.
He requested everyone to remember the deceased and their family in prayers on the death.

Moreover, sources revealed that Maulana Tariq Jamil’s son was suffering from depression.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Sunday expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the death of Asim Jameel, son of Maulana Tariq Jameel.
Expressing his condolence, Prime Minister Kakar prayed for the departed soul and for the bereaved family to bear the loss with equanimity, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.
Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Ahmad Bugti also expressed grief and sorrow over the death of Asim Jameel, son of Maulana Tariq Jameel. Interior Minister’s condolence to Maulana Tariq Jameel and his family.
The death of a son at a young age is the greatest pain and sorrow in the world for a father, the minister said. May Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in Jawar-e-Rehmat and patience to the family, he said.
