RAWALPINDI: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has summoned Bushra Bibi, the wife of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief, in connection with the Toshakhana case. According to NAB Rawalpindi, a notice has been issued to Bushra Bibi, requesting her presence for questioning on the matter tomorrow at 11 am.
The notice alleges that on June 26, 2019, Bushra Bibi received a chain, locket, and earrings as gifts, and on September 18, 2020, she received a diamond and gold ring, bracelet, and necklace, all of which were not declared in her assets.
Earlier, an accountability court in Islamabad granted bail to Bushra Bibi in the Toshakhana case, allowing her temporary release until September 12.
