Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader, Nawaz Sharif, has arrived at Lahore's iconic Minar-e-Pakistan to deliver a momentous address, marking his return to the country after a self-imposed exile of four years.
To celebrate their leader's return, PML-N has orchestrated an enormous gathering at the Minar-e-Pakistan grounds. Party members from all corners of the nation have convened at the location, accompanied by enthusiastic supporters from their respective constituencies. The Minar-e-Pakistan venue has been transformed with stunning electric lighting.
The three-time former prime minister opened his speech with a verse, expressing, "I am reuniting with you today after several years, but my profound bond of affection with you remains unaltered. The affection I perceive in your eyes fills me with pride."
Nawaz Sharif, the PML-N leader, arrived in Islamabad from Dubai via a chartered flight. Upon landing at Islamabad Airport, Sharif proceeded to the airport's VIP lounge alongside party leader Ishaq Dar to complete legal paperwork and biometric procedures. He spent over an hour at Islamabad International Airport, signing documents and consulting with his legal team.
Prominent leaders, including Maryam Nawaz, have already joined the rally. Nawaz Sharif himself journeyed from Islamabad to Lahore, where he received a warm welcome from his brother, Shahbaz Sharif. He was transported to the historic Shahi Fort by helicopter.
