Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif criticized the current leadership, highlighting the impact of what he referred to as an inept individual in power, attributing damage to the nation.

During the party's parliamentary board's fifth session, Nawaz Sharif emphasized their priority being the welfare of the common citizen rather than seeking power.

Sharif dismissed the notion of blaming circumstances, expressing his desire to guide the country through its challenges. He underscored the PML-N's commitment to national development and service to the people, citing it as transformative for the nation's future.

According to Sharif, the essence of serving the people holds the potential to shape the nation's fate. He criticized the incumbent leader for lacking comprehension of economic, diplomatic, and international affairs, emphasizing a failure to uphold the principles of the State of Madinah.

Addressing his own situation, Sharif highlighted a seven-year struggle for justice, alleging being unfairly accused of financial impropriety involving his son's salary. He advocated for universal accountability, affirming the need for fairness and justice for all.
