Pakistani actress Nazish Jahangir has finally broken her silence on the fraud allegations made against her by actor Aswad Haroon. Aswad accused Nazish of taking his money, cars, and expensive gifts. While she initially chose legal action over public statements, she has now addressed the controversy.
Nazish recently appeared on Shaan-e-Sahoor, where she spoke about the allegations for the first time. She described the accusations as a “preplanned and planted” attempt to tarnish her reputation. Calling it a “flop blackmail show,” she claimed that some people resort to such tactics to extort money from well-known figures.
Explaining her decision to stay silent, she mentioned that she is not very active on social media and prefers to keep her personal matters private. She shared that even when she misses her late mother, she does not post about it online.
Nazish revealed that she was advised by her father to avoid responding publicly, as they were already pursuing the matter legally. He believed that engaging in a media war could prolong the issue unnecessarily. She admitted she was provoked to speak earlier but ultimately decided against it.
The actress reaffirmed her stance, maintaining that the allegations were baseless and meant to damage her career. She emphasized her focus on legal proceedings rather than social media debates.
