Following statements from notable figures like Zara Noor Abbas Siddiqui, Syeda Tuba Anwar, and Anoushey Ashraf, emphasizing the importance of recognizing depression as a genuine mental health issue warranting professional treatment, Noor Bukhari has also weighed in on the discussion.

This discussion was prompted by the tragic news of Asim Jamil's passing. Asim Jamil, the son of the renowned Islamic scholar and preacher Maulana Tariq Jamil, was revealed to have been battling depression, a fact shared by his elder son, Maulana Yousaf Jamil.

In an Instagram Story, Noor conveyed her condolences to Maulana Sahab, saying, "May Allah grant you patience. Regrettably, some insensitive celebrities have asserted that depression is unrelated to [religion], using your late son as an example. We apologize for their lack of sensitivity."
