Stephen Constantine, the head coach of Pakistan's football team, attributed the 4-0 defeat against Saudi Arabia in the FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers to conceding goals at critical moments.

He acknowledged the challenge of facing a strong team like Saudi Arabia, stressing the need for unwavering focus.

Highlighting the team's diverse backgrounds and limited recent football exposure for some players, Constantine encouraged playing without fear, especially against formidable opponents like Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the necessity for thorough preparation ahead of the upcoming match against Tajikistan.

This marked Pakistan's entry into the second round of FIFA World Cup qualifiers, having previously defeated Cambodia. Their next match, against Tajikistan, is slated for November 21 in Islamabad.
