Pakistan condemns 'dastardly terrorist attack' in Turkey

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar of Pakistan has strongly denounced the heinous terrorist attack that occurred in Ankara and expressed unwavering solidarity with Turkey.

In a statement, Prime Minister Kakar vehemently condemned the terrorist incident in Ankara and conveyed Pakistan's full support to the Turkish people in their battle against terrorism. He expressed confidence in the steadfastness of the Turkish nation under the dynamic leadership of his counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, believing that they would emerge even stronger from this challenging ordeal.

Additionally, the prime minister, through a press release issued by the PM Office Media Wing, extended the heartfelt sympathies of the Pakistani nation to the people of Turkey, emphasizing the strong fraternal bond between the two countries. He also offered prayers for the swift recovery of those injured in the attack.

Turkish government officials reported that two terrorists were responsible for the attack near the Interior Ministry building in Ankara, with one of them perishing in the explosion and the other being neutralized.
