In a statement issued on Wednesday, Pakistan's Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq expressed concern over the recent rise in terrorism incidents in Pakistan following the establishment of an interim government in Afghanistan.

He emphasized the need for the Afghan government to take decisive action against terrorist groups operating within its borders, particularly the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP).

Prime Minister Haq highlighted the historical ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan, emphasizing their status as independent nations. He urged the Afghan authorities to prevent their territory from being used for destabilizing activities in Pakistan. He also reiterated Pakistan's right to deport Afghan nationals residing illegally in the country.

Furthermore, Prime Minister Haq called upon the Afghan government to extradite individuals involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan. He stated that Pakistan had already provided the Afghan Taliban with a list of wanted terrorists. However, he expressed disappointment that the Afghan government had not taken any concrete steps to address these concerns.
