In Karachi, gold prices experienced a Rs 500 drop per tola on Thursday, reaching Rs 218,000.
Specifically, the cost of 24 tola gold decreased by Rs 500, marking a shift from its previous rate of Rs 218,500. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 428, falling to Rs 186,900 from Rs 187,328.
Officials attributed this decline in gold prices to a $5 reduction in the global market, with gold prices reaching $2055 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola has been set at Rs 2650.
