Dr. Ali Sher Bajwa secured a bronze medal for Pakistan during the Asia Masters Athletics Championships, which took place in New Clark City, Philippines.

The closely contested Discus final was marked by intermittent torrential rain, adding to the intensity. Ali Bajwa's performance resulted in Pakistan's sole medal in the championship, which spanned from November 8 to 12. India and the Philippines claimed the first two positions, with Ali taking third place.

Expressing his satisfaction, Ali credited his family's unwavering support, his son Ammar Bajwa for strength and conditioning training, the Pakistan Athletics Federation, and fellow Discus thrower Salman Butt for his achievement. Ali, a sports orthopedic surgeon and international athlete, emphasized the months of rigorous training that led to this accomplishment.
