ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has announced its support for Palestinians affected by Israel's continuous bombing, with plans to send 100 tonnes of essential medical supplies, tents, and blankets on a chartered aircraft. These relief items will be transported to Gaza via Egypt.
During the weekly press briefing, the Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, expressed disappointment in the outcomes of the recent United Nations Security Council (UNSC) emergency meeting. Pakistan called for an immediate halt to the bombardment of Gaza and the inhumane blockade.
In response to a question about sending troops to Palestine for peacekeeping, the spokesperson clarified that Pakistan has no such intentions. Pakistan maintains a peaceful stance, advocates for dialogue as a means of conflict resolution, and does not initiate wars.
