The PMLN has been granted permission to hold a public gathering at the Minar-e-Pakistan ground on October 21, 2023, to welcome back former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
The event will be subject to several conditions, including no speeches against constitutional offices, the Armed Forces, or the Judiciary.
The PMLN has already begun making arrangements for the event, and the city has been decorated with party flags and posters of Sharif.
According to the permission letter issued by the DC Lahore, the organizers have taken full responsibility in case of any untoward incident.
The district administration and police have also imposed several conditions on the event, including obtaining permission from the Parks & Horticulture Authority and ensuring adequate security and parking.
