The leaders engaged in discussions on various political and economic issues affecting Pakistan and Karachi.
Khawaja Saad Rafique, a prominent PML-N leader, emphasized the need for discussions on legal, constitutional, and other matters, highlighting the importance of devising a comprehensive plan to address the country's numerous challenges.
Dr. Farooq Sattar from MQM-P underscored the necessity for both parties to develop a joint strategy for the February 8 elections, recognizing that Pakistan's challenges are too extensive for any single party to handle.
Mustafa Kamal acknowledged the vast experience of three-time prime minister Nawaz Sharif, considering him the most senior politician in the region. He expressed gratitude to the PML-N leadership, including Maryam Nawaz, for their warm reception.
Bashir Memon, the newly-appointed president of PML-N Sindh, mentioned plans to engage in discussions with other political parties for potential collaborations in the upcoming elections. He pledged to take steps for the betterment of Sindh.
Khawaja Saad Rafique also revealed that talks would be conducted with the PML-F, led by Pir Pagara, and hinted at potential positive developments regarding electoral alliances in the near future.
Regarding the nomination of Bashir Memon as the provincial chief, Rafique commended Memon's integrity and principled stance, emphasizing his unwavering commitment during the PTI rule.
Earlier, the MQM delegation, led by Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, held discussions with Nawaz Sharif and other PML-N leaders at the party's Model Town headquarters to establish a mutual understanding that could lead to ongoing cooperation.
