Former Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah criticized Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti for his recent comments regarding the potential arrest of PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif.
Sanaullah pointed out that Bugti should consider the current situation of his predecessor, Sheikh Rashid, who was detained earlier and has not yet appeared in court.
Sanaullah emphasized that the country has already suffered due to conspiracies against Nawaz Sharif, and he believed that Nawaz had the support of both the public and divine blessings. He cautioned Bugti against trying to gain prominence by making statements against Nawaz Sharif, stating that it was not up to the federal government or the interior minister to decide Nawaz's fate upon his return on October 21 but rather the will of the people.
Sanaullah also asserted that Nawaz Sharif has always respected the courts and would continue to do so.
