KARACHI: Pakistan People's Party's elected Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from PS-80, Dadu, Abdul Aziz Junejo, passed away on Tuesday, as confirmed by family sources.
Junejo, who won with 52,131 votes, died due to undisclosed health issues at a private medical facility in Karachi.
A prominent figure in his constituency, Junejo enjoyed considerable support from voters, leading to his victory in PS-80.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed shock and sadness at Junejo's passing. In a statement, Bilawal extended condolences to the bereaved family of the late politician.
