KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari was discharged from the hospital on Friday after showing significant improvement in his health. His physician, Dr. Asim Hussain, confirmed that the president had made notable progress in his recovery. President Zardari was admitted to a hospital in Karachi on April 1 after his health deteriorated and remained under medical care for more than ten days.
He had been shifted from Nawabshah to Karachi on the night of Eid ul Fitr to receive better medical treatment. While no official details were shared about the nature of his illness, sources close to the matter stated that he was being treated under the supervision of experienced doctors. Dr. Asim mentioned that the president is now in a stable condition and further rest will aid in his complete recovery. Party leaders and supporters have expressed relief and satisfaction over his improving health and wished him a full recovery.
