The Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has submitted an application to the Official Secrets Act court challenging his trial while in custody.
The application was filed in front of Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain in the Special Court. In the application, it is highlighted that on November 23, the court had initially directed the accused to be presented in the Judicial Complex on November 28. However, contrary to the previous order, a new verdict was issued on November 28 for the trial to take place in the prison.
The applicant has argued that the order issued on November 28 was deemed unlawful. The request made to the court is to uphold the original order issued on November 23.
