Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi was hospitalized due to a deterioration in his health while in Adiala Jail.
The jail administration sought permission from Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain to transfer him to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for medical tests based on the advice of the jail doctor.
The request was granted, and Shah Mehmood Qureshi, who is detained in Adiala Jail after his arrest in a cipher case, will be moved to the hospital. The hearing of the cipher case against him has been adjourned until November 7.
