Million-rupees robbery targets senior journalist

Senior Journalist Anchor Person Metro One News Akhtar Shaheen Rind and his family filed a case of robbery and car theft.  According to the police, suit No. 1004/2023 has been registered at Police Station Sarjani Town.

 Akhtar Shaheen Rind was robbed along with his family and cousin journalist Ahsan Jatoi. Three dacoits riding a bike stole mobile phones, cash and also stole the car worth millions of rupees. The incident took place near the Northern Bypass Attock Petrol Pump.

 According to the journalist, no progress has been made so far on the incident of robbery and carjacking that took place at 8:30 pm on Sunday night even after notified by Additional IG Karachi Khadim Hussain Rind. Police is still unable to trace the stolen cultus car number AUY139 and other belongings.

Rind said his wife managed to save her phone during the robbery, so he called Police Helpline 15. But instead of listening to his complaint, the operator spoke harshly, disconnected the call and failed to send help or message on wireless in time. The police have also refused to write a statement against the operator of Helpline15
