KARACHI: The rupee continued its ascent against the dollar for the sixth consecutive session, experiencing a slight 0.03 percent increase in the inter-bank market.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the domestic currency settled at 281.13 after a rise of 0.09 paisa. In the previous session on Tuesday, the rupee had marginally increased, reaching a settlement of 281.22 against the dollar.
Globally, the dollar remained stable on Wednesday, with cautious trading ahead of impending US inflation data expected to influence the Federal Reserve's policy. Additionally, the market saw volatility in Bitcoin following a fake social media post that disrupted markets.
