During discussions with a delegation of industrialists led by Muslim Khan Buneri, Malik underscored the extensive public awareness campaign initiated since Dr. Jah assumed office on September 29, 2021. This outreach led to a historic moment where thousands of aggrieved taxpayers reached out to regional offices across the nation through various channels like email, the FTO portal, WhatsApp, Mobile App, Fax, and written complaints. Notably, these concerns were swiftly resolved within a record time frame of 34 days from the date of complaint.
Malik praised Dr. Jah's commitment to promptly addressing issues, reflecting a proactive approach that fosters a business-friendly environment. He also lauded the FTO's principled advocacy for timely tax payments and the expansion of the tax base. Recognizing the urgency of these measures, Dr. Jah's stance resonates with the broader objective of fortifying the national economy.
