KARACHI: PPP Karachi's President, Saeed Ghani, asserted on Sunday that the MQM has been under the influence of the 'PSP mafia.'
Speaking at a press conference, Ghani, a former provincial minister, stated that Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has held a powerless role as the party's convenor. He further alleged that, with Mustafa Kamal's entry into MQM-Pakistan, the party has lost its remaining voter base.
Ghani claimed that the attack on PPP's election office in MQM's stronghold was a result of their inability to withstand a clear defeat in the elections.
